A private platform, a local AI laboratory, and a public framework. Different materials; the same instinct to make complex work inspectable and durable.
A production-inspired homelab treated as a platform to commission—not a collection of containers to accumulate.
A local environment for testing agents, knowledge workflows, and the operating boundaries that make AI work inspectable.
A lived, versioned framework for stepping away from one chapter, recovering capacity, and finding the next direction without pretending the process is linear.
Working method
The recurring contribution is not a preferred tool. It is a way of moving from ambiguity to something a person can operate, test, recover, and improve.
Trace the work, boundaries, dependencies, and failure modes.
Prefer bounded, reversible moves with explicit acceptance.
Observe normal operation, negative cases, restart, and recovery.
Document the decisions and evidence—not just the final state.
Field note / Waymaking
After sixteen years in federal engineering and operations, I left to recover, explore, and build. Gentry Advisory began as a consulting practice. The lab became more serious. A public framework emerged. The next chapter may be a role, a client, a product, or a stranger combination.
This site is designed to hold that uncertainty without disguising it as a polished answer.
